O’Donnell Lecture 2022 – Agency, Consent and Loyalty: Royal Fathers and Daughters in Middle Irish Literature

This year's O'Donnell lecture will take place on 6 May at 5pm at the English Faculty. Dr Elizabeth Boyle will talk on ‘Agency, Consent and Loyalty: Royal Fathers and Daughters in Middle Irish Literature’.

The O’Donnell Lectures in Celtic Studies were established in 1954 in honour of Charles James O’Donnell. Under the terms of his bequest the lectures can examine British or Celtic elements in the English language or in the existing population of England.
