I studied for my undergraduate degree in English at King's College London, where I undertook a King's Undergraduate Research Fellowship (KURF). This was followed by an MSt in English (650-1550) at the University of Oxford. I was subsequently awarded a research grant by the University of Turku in Finland and worked on a large-scale project exploring graphic literacy. My DPhil research is generously funded by the News UK Studentship and Richmond Graduate Scholarship (St Hugh's College).
