Dr Felicity Brown

My research interests are in sixteenth and seventeenth century English literature, particularly in the reception of classical and medieval texts. I am currently working on a book about adaptations of the Arthurian legend in early modern culture, as well as on two additional projects, which focus on the work of Shakespeare and Dryden, respectively.

I teach Final Honours School Papers 1 ‘Shakespeare’, 3 ‘1550-1660’, and 4 ‘1660-1760’, and supervise undergraduate dissertations on early modern and Arthurian literature.
