For Teachers and Advisors
Oxford University recognises the crucial role that teachers and careers advisers play in directing and supporting their students’ education by encouraging them to consider their options and make informed decisions about their future.
Please visit www.ox.ac.uk/teachers for further details on how the university works with teachers, and email outreach@ell.ox.ac.uk if you have any questions about supporting your students to make a competitive application to study English at the University of Oxford.
The English Faculty hosts an annual online Teachers' Conference (usually in February / March) which features admission talks, mini lectures, a resources showcase and panel discussions. We also host an online State Schools' Open Day and in-person Open Days for students, as well as supporting the UNIQ summer schools, an access programme with preference given to applicants from low socio-economic status backgrounds and/or from areas with low progression to higher education.
See talks from our recent Teachers' Conference below, and scroll down to find out more about the resources and opportunities available to your students. You can also download our Teachers' Resource pack for further details.
